Recipe Guide

How does heavy cream affect the dough texture?

Heavy cream increases moisture and tenderness, resulting in extra-soft, pillowy rolls that stay fresh longer.

Can I substitute half-and-half for heavy cream?

Yes, half-and-half can be used for a lighter texture though it may slightly reduce richness.

What is the best way to achieve a gooey cinnamon filling?

Use softened butter combined with packed brown sugar and cinnamon spread evenly before rolling for a rich, gooey center.

How long should the dough rise for optimal fluffiness?

Allow the dough to rise for 60-75 minutes until doubled, then a second 30-minute rise after shaping for best puffiness.

What temperature is ideal for baking these rolls?

Bake at 350°F (175°C) to achieve a golden exterior while keeping the inside soft and fully cooked.

How is the cream cheese icing prepared?

Beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and a touch of milk until fluffy.
