Recipe Guide

Can I use fresh spinach instead of frozen?

Yes, fresh spinach can be used. Simply sauté and drain it well to remove excess moisture before mixing into the dip to prevent soggy bread.

What types of bread work best for this sandwich?

Hearty breads like sourdough or white sandwich bread hold up well, providing a nice crunch while supporting the creamy filling.

Is it necessary to preheat the air fryer?

Preheating ensures even cooking and crispiness, creating that perfect golden crust on the sandwich.

Can I add other cheeses to the filling?

Absolutely, cheeses like Gruyère or fontina blend well for richer flavor and gooey texture.

How should I store leftovers?

Wrap sandwiches tightly and refrigerate. Reheat in the air fryer briefly to restore crispness and melt the cheese.

Can this be made gluten-free?

Yes, simply substitute with gluten-free bread to accommodate dietary needs.
