01 - 8 mini bagels, sliced in half
02 - 6 ounces cream cheese, softened (plain or flavored)

03 - 16 small black olives, sliced (for eyes and buttons)
04 - 8 baby carrots, cut into thin strips (for noses)
05 - 16 thin cucumber rounds (for scarves)
06 - 8 red bell pepper strips (for scarves or hats)
07 - 16 capers or black peppercorns (for mouth)
08 - 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped (optional, for extra decoration)

09 - 8 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
10 - 8 slices turkey, ham, or vegetarian deli slices

# Method:
01 - Slice each mini bagel in half horizontally.
02 - Spread a generous layer of softened cream cheese onto the bottom half of each mini bagel.
03 - If desired, layer cheese, deli slices, and lettuce onto the cream cheese-spread halves, then top with the other half of the bagel.
04 - Place each sandwich flat side up on a serving surface, cut-side facing upward.
05 - Create snowman faces on the top surface by placing two olive slices for eyes, a carrot strip for the nose, and capers or peppercorns curved into a smile for the mouth. Arrange cucumber rounds and red pepper strips below the face as scarves. Optionally, sprinkle finely chopped chives for a festive accent.
06 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
