Nutella Puff Pastry Snowflakes (Printable)

Golden puff pastry filled with Nutella, twisted into snowflake shapes for a festive treat.

# Components:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (approx. 8.8 oz each), thawed if frozen

→ Filling

02 - 6 tablespoons Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread

→ Topping

03 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

# Method:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll one sheet of puff pastry and place onto the prepared tray.
03 - Spread Nutella evenly over the pastry, leaving a 0.4 inch border around the edges.
04 - Place the second puff pastry sheet on top, aligning edges precisely.
05 - Set a small glass in the center without pressing down. Using a sharp knife, cut 16 strips from the glass edge to the pastry border, forming rays.
06 - Twist each strip gently 2 to 3 times. Pinch ends together if desired to create a snowflake shape.
07 - Remove the glass, then brush the entire surface with beaten egg for a glossy golden finish.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the pastry is puffed and deep golden brown.
09 - Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm or at room temperature.
