01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
03 - 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
04 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
05 - 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
06 - 1/4 tsp garlic powder
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
→ Sandwich Assembly
08 - 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
09 - 12 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed
10 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
# Method:
01 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, dill, chives, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended.
02 - If desired, lightly spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice to create a moisture barrier and prevent sogginess.
03 - Evenly distribute a generous layer of herbed cream cheese onto each bread slice.
04 - Arrange thinly sliced cucumber in a single layer over half of the prepared bread slices.
05 - Top each cucumber-layered slice with a remaining bread slice, cream cheese side down, to form complete sandwiches.
06 - Gently press sandwiches together and trim edges if necessary for refined presentation.
07 - Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters as preferred. Serve immediately or cover with a damp paper towel and refrigerate until service.
