01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Pour in crushed tomatoes and Italian herbs. Season with salt and black pepper, then stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
04 - Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Cook for 3 more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
05 - Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently to coat in the sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
06 - Remove skillet from heat. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil and serve immediately.
